Here I've listed my studies within acting and some of the most remarkable roles I've played in recent years.
The roles that I've gotten to play so far have varied from each other a lot and I'm happy that I've been able to explore and learn already so much about my own dimensions and layers as an actor and an artist.
Education & courses
2022-2023
Työväen Akatemia: one year acting studies, full time
One year acting studies included courses in improv, Suzuki-method, physical acting, basics of acting, singing, screenwriting, directing, clownery, vocal acting, history and contemporary dance. We also had a monologue course in English where we prepared and performed monologues taking place in Ancient Greece. At the end of the studies we performed the beloved classic theatre play Pride & Prejudice where I played double role as Jane Bennet and Mrs. Gardiner.

Camera Acting courses by Tatu Sinisalo
Both camera acting courses focused on dialogue, being present and comfortable in front of a camera and connecting with own inner world as well as with the scene partner.
2024
Musical singing course by Reeta Vestman
This one day course included an introduction to musical singing and a masterclass part where each participant performed a song from a musical and would get advice and guidance from a professional musical singer and actor.

Actor's Academy Finland: Camera acting course
This two-day course focused on authentic being and doing with Meisner technique-approach. We learned about Meisner technique by doing excercises and then practiced a scene with a partner that we also filmed.

Meisner technique course by Maria Ga'tsal
During this course that took place in November, having classes twice a week we learned about Meisner technique by doing different exercises in pairs. This acting technique emphasizes the art of listening, observing, reading behaviour, creating genuine interactions, harnessing the power of imagination, following impulses, empathy, and more.

One year, full-time acting studies
These versatile and intense studies included courses in singing, improv, clownery, Uta Hagen, dance and movement and camera acting, to name a few. Five courses were in cooperation with Theatre Academy (Teak).

A supporting role in a commercial (TV & social media)
In Epäpyhä Johanna, my character Johanna's journey and struggle in working life as a young woman is being observed through symbolism and surrealistic avant-garde. This movie was a short film project for a film student in Turku Arts Academy.
I played Sanni, the main character Aki's ex-girlfriend in one scene of the tv-series Kurjen Kirous.
